Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. Kaiseki dinner was very delicious! And served on time. Private bath also very clean and comfortable. Public bath onsen really big and has very nice view of mt. fuji. Great service to have pick up shuttle from hotel to kawaguchiko terminal. Definetly will come back.

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. Quite area and nice location and a remarkable place to stay

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Mitsubikiya features accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. The air-conditioned accommodation is 800 metres from Matsumoto Station. Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast and nice rooms combining traditional style and comfort. Nice area too! very close to the main attractions and the shopping streets.

Located in Oshino and only 10 km from Fuji-Q Highland, 八海 木花館 provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Dinner and breakfast are exceptional. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Very private and secluded area which is perfect.

Located in Fujikawaguchiko and only 1.5 km from Lake Kawaguchi, Ryokan Fuji Heights provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. A hot tub is available for guests. Location was central to the main attraction of Kawaguchiko lake where you could go for a (long) walk there, bike there, or even bus there. The owner even offered e-bike rentals early morning that let me catch the sunrise, and it was one of the best travel moments I've had. He was so helpful with sightseeing advice and we were able to communicate using translation apps. Traditional Japanese house, spacious rooms, lots of quiet, and centrally located to convenience stores, a large supermarket with cheap bento boxes, and less touristed restaurants. Luggage storage is available before and after check in.

Boasting mountain views, Private Hotel Rei features accommodation with terrace, around 7.1 km from Lake Kawaguchi. The location is exceptional. I had the chance to see Mount Fuji directly from my room. The staff is warm and friendly, and Yoshi is an amazing host as well as an excellent cook. He even drove me to the train station on the day of my departure, although he wasn't obligated to do so, and he showed many thoughtful gestures throughout my stay. A big thank you. (As an added bonus, other guests I saw brought their dogs with them, and they were all adorable.)

Located 47 km from The Japan Ukiyo-e Museum, Kamikochi Nishi-itoya Mountain lodge offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a garden and a shared lounge. We had a wonderful time at the Nisha-itoya lodge. The staff were very attentive and helpful and looked after us so well. The Japanese food was wonderful and seemed to get better every night we stayed and they were able to accommodate my fussiness and my partner’s veganism. The public bath had a gorgeous view of the mountains.

Located just a minute's walk from Kawaguchiko Lake, Kawaguchiko Lakeside Hotel offers accommodation in Fujikawaguchiko, near Kawaguchiko Ohashi Bridge. The lakeside hotel is a charming, older style Japanese hotel. Everything was so clean & the location right next to the lake and restaurants was amazing. We got lucky in that there were not many quests staying so we had the entire onsen area to ourselves the entire stay. The host/owner is so lovely and welcoming he made our time in Kawaguchiko even better! You also can’t beat the views you get from the hotel of mt fuji! Great value for money. Loved it!

Located in the historical Shibu Onsen district, 渋温泉小石屋旅館 offers both private and dormitory-style guest rooms as well as an on-site restaurant where local dishes, wines and craft beers are available. Nice was super friendly and the ryokan is very nice. They also serve good food at the on site restaurant.
