The extensively-refurbished Bridge House Hotel is set in Grasmere, directly across from St Oswalds Church and the graveyard where William Wordsworth rests. Keswick'e 5 km uzaklıkta, Ullock Pike'ın eteğinde yer alan Ravenstone Lodge, Northern Fells'in güzel manzarasını sunmaktadır. The view of the hotel is absolutely stunning! Sadly we are only staying for one night. We have a nice view from our room, and even a surprising sunset view from the toilet! We had dinner before heading to the hotel, but I instantly regretted it because the menu looks attractive and you could sit outside and look at the great view. The breakfast was very nice as well.

We stayed in the Wood cabin, and it was comfortable, clean, spacious, beautifully decorated, quiet and equipped with everything you could possibly need to be self-sufficient. Sandra and David were wonderful hosts and were on hand to provide and assistance, a fabulous breakfast each morning and to start the day with a laugh (thank you David). No problems with parking, which is very secure and it's a good location to catch the steam train from Pickering to Whitby.

Cosy, comfortable accommodation for 2 of us with our dog. 10 minutes walk to Low Town with pubs, restaurants and food stores and a further 10 minutes to High Town the beautiful historic centre of Bridgnorth.
